Witch School Branding Shoot

When I was invited to shoot a Winter Solstice branding shoot for Witch School I was excited and intrigued. A Witch School? I had never heard of anything like this before, but after meeting up with the enigmatic founder Kiki for a walk in the Chelsea woods to discuss the shoot it became clear that Witch School represented so much more than what our culture portrays the idea of a ‘witch’ as.

I joined the group for their Winter Solstice ceremony- a door that they don’t often open to outsiders. I was given a small glimpse into the world of Witch School and was honoured to document their group in such an intimate setting.

We finished the night with a quiet portrait session of all the attendants and captures some really emotive and beautiful images as the participants bravely sat in front of my lens with their guards down and open hearts.
